New Director of Worship — Sam J.C. Lee

During this season of leadership transition, our session is delighted to share that we have hired a new staff member for the Director of Worship role!

Thank you to the members of our Worship Director Search Committee (Shinyoung Lee, Hilary Kays, Hannah Lau, Yoonju Cho, Angelina Savoia, Jensen Ying) for the many months of laboring together to pray, interview, and deliberate who to join staff as the Director of Worship. This was a church-wide effort - so thank you to everyone who also participated in working alongside and supporting the work of our search committee to get to this point.

Sam was born in South Korea, and grew up as a pastor's kid. He moved to Boston to obtain musical training at Berklee College of Music. Since then, Sam has been very active in various music scenes as a bassist, sound/recording engineer, and composer. He currently teaches at Harmony/Jazz Composition Department, Berklee College of Music as an assistant professor. Sam currently resides in MA with his wife Youngji and two children Rosie and Levi. Sam enjoys everything about basketball!

Sam J.C. Lee has served as interim Worship Director for the past few years and we are delighted that he is now officially Director of Worship.
