Children are the largest age group living in poverty in the U.S., and lack of basic necessities is one of the top reasons for absenteeism. Schools equipped with a Catie’s Closet allow children living in poverty to discreetly choose trendy, new or like-new clothing (and other basic necessities) that they need and can be proud of wearing, boosting self-confidence.
Foster care in the U.S. is something of a silent crisis. The group’s mission is to raise up and support foster families until every child in foster care has a family to care for them. While 30-40% of practicing Christians have seriously considered foster care or adoption, only 3-5% actually have fostered or adopted. Fostering Hope desires to remove obstacles so that more families engage.

Route One seeks to minister to women who are sexually exploited and trafficked by the commercial sex industry. Ultimately the hope is that the women would experience the breaking of chains and healing of wounds through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Route One also seeks to equip and empower churches to address sex trafficking and the larger systems that result in the exploitation of women.
