Chestnut Hill Elders

Enoch Minn
Chestnut Hill Elder

Our family started attending Citylife in 2005 when we moved to Boston from NYC. My wife (Karen) and I live in Brookline with our two children Hannah (11) and Nathan (9). I’m a partner at a management consulting firm. I look forward to serving our church and experiencing growth. I hope to see the church grow in strategic ways to better minister to our community, and I hope to grow spiritually as I learn more about my own journey with Christ. One fun fact: I play (well, sometimes just hold my) violin in an amateur orchestra.

I am married to Becky and father to Gabriella (14), Arielle (11) and Chloe (6). We live in Needham and have been attending Citylife since 2006. I am looking forward to being part of a new phase of growth for Citylife where we are utilizing our gifts and talents in a way that glorifies God and Jesus Christ throughout the city of Boston. One interesting fun fact: I enjoy cooking!

Boston Elder

I’ve been at Citylife since the beginning, Jan ’02. Sarah (my lovely wife) and I have been in our apt (Waterfront/North End) since ’04, which is also when we got married. We have two children, Lindsay (10) and Reed (8). I work in downtown Boston as a management consultant serving asset and wealth management firms. This will be my second stint on the Session as I served on the steering committee when we started, and also when we were particularized in Sept ’06. I am particularly excited to figure out how we/I can better take care of/support/pray for our pastors and staff as we move into the next season for our church. One claim to fame we have is that we were the very first Citylife couple to be married by Pastor Um in Boston (details available upon request…).

Daniel Jeong
Boston Elder

I live in Andover, work as an oral surgeon in Tewksbury, married with 2 daughters and a dog, been attending Citylife since 2005. Citylife has grown since it began 20 years ago. With this growth, there has been growing pains. With the Pulse Survey, we have been able to reflect on what we have been doing well and on things we could improve upon. I look forward to helping the church develop and implement its new mission and vision, and caring for people as we do life together and bring glory to God.

Kurt Richardson
Boston Elder

Susie and I have lived north of Boston in Reading for the past 13 winters; we both work with Cru and first visited Citylife in 2006 – by 2007 we were attending regularly. We have 3 adult children: Alex and Mark live in Tempe, Ariz., and Lisa is in grad school at Pitt. Mark is married to Liberty and they have a daughter Sonora who will turn 1 in Sept. I look forward to being part of what the Lord is doing in Boston and with us all at Citylife in our lives and community. There’s no better place to be! One interesting fun fact: I was once was shot at (without effect) after hitting a van with eggs on Halloween.

Mike Saji
Boston Elder

My wife Charlene and I live in Brookline with our two kids, Tabitha (5) and Lucy (1). We’ve been at Citylife since 2009. We both grew up in California, but I have been in Boston for 20 years and consider it my home. I am a patent lawyer. I look forward to meeting all kinds of people within our church, whether it be people from different cultural, ethnic, or life stage backgrounds, and hearing about their lives. I hope to be able to use that desire to represent all of the people I meet in the Session meetings. One interesting fun fact: I spent a year after college living abroad in Tokyo, Japan! I helped set up a Japanese mission church, studied Japanese language at my father’s alma mater, and reconnected with my extended family living in Tokyo. Please ask me and I am happy to provide travel tips!
