Citylife Link community dinner – April 12

Citylife Link is a grass-roots initiative to build relationships across life-stages in our church for Kingdom work. Why is Link important to us? Citylife Link seeks to connect people through common professional interests, but in a way that is completely different because it’s built on the gospel of Jesus, it’s built on grace. Link seeks space for all of us—current professionals, people who have been laid off, moms who are looking to get back into the workforce, students, etc–to be together. A place where you don’t need to put forth a façade of invulnerability and competence, but where we can share grace with each other, welcome uncertainty, embrace weakness and show special dignity to all, wherever you are in your professional career.

To that end, one of Citylife members, Robert Ang, is hosting a dinner and informal Q&A at his workplace so that more relationships across the gamut of life stages and career trajectories can be formed and deepened. Robert works at Neon Therapeutics as the chief business officer (Robert’s LinkedIn Profile here). In addition to dinner and Q&A, he will give us a tour of their state of the art laboratory that is on the cutting edge of the fight against cancer.  If you or anyone you know is interested in biotech or biopharma, medical research, etc., feel free to invite them! Even if this isn’t your field of interest, this is a great avenue to get to know others in this industry. We hope you will join us!
